Moulin-à-Vent "Champ-de-Cour"


Our plot on the prestigious Champ-de-Cour climate is located on the boundary of Les Thorins climate. It benefits from two different influences in its subsoil : old alluvial deposits but also deep granite from the Thorins area. With an ideal South-East exposure, the clay and sandy soil of Champ-de-Cour is very draining and offers a complex and voluptuous wine with a superb freshness.

Tasting note

Our Moulin-à-Vent "Champ-de-Cour" 2014 shows a superb garnet-red colour with purple lights. The nose is delicate and elegant with blackcurrant and raspberry notes but also a hint of spice on the finish. In the mouth, the attack is ample and round with silky tannins and blackberry, pepper and roasting aromas. Very nice length.
